Made of finely granulated cork bound with NBR rubber, whereby the cork's fine elasticity is combined with the rubber's strength and sealing properties. Resistant to swelling in oils and petrol, but should not be used at very low temperatures. The gasket should not be compressed by more than 30%. Used with advantage in applications such as water, alcohols, gasoline, heating oil, mineral oils, fuels, etc. However, not suitable for acids, alkalis or oxidizing solutions. Temperature range -30 to +120°C.
